Hanifin would fit better in Toronto than he would in Carolina.
Mitch Marner is overrated by Leaf fans and they don't really need him.
Matthews, Nylander, Marner and Kadri can't all play at centre on the top 2 lines.

hanifin got traded because he doesn't fit the system in carolina.
The leafs are deep at centre and nylander would be playing centre rather than the wing. hanifin is the defenseman toronto needs and now has to trade for.

Unless you think Gauthier is the solution for 4th line C. Willy has chemistry with Auston. No way, Babs breaks them up to put him at C.

That's a 3 year old article. He's too small to play center anyway. Stop trying to justify your idiotic idea that Hanafin is better than Marner by doubling down with a 3 year old article as your proof, and if you read it, the idea of him being a center was pushed by Hunter. Where's Hunter now?
