Thought Romanov was a reach but I just listened to Timmins press conference and he seems really really high on him so I guess there's no choice but to trust him on that...

Trust is still hard to give though with his past resume...

I know, that's why we rely on other guy's prospect lists like Bob Mckenzie, McKeens...etc and they all had him ranked pretty low.

Timmins said he saw him play at the World U19 Junior A challenge...he had 4 goals in 4 games so I guess that's where he rose on the Habs draft list.

mckenzie has not seen most of these guys either, it's based on what he hears and the stats he checks out.

Tbf i saw subban two years after he was drafted. Duchene and hodgson were going around him like he was a pylon.

Couldn't go from backwards to forwards, so i imagine he hadn't come up with falling down and claiming he lost an edge excuse yet.

6 years later, bergevin is starting all over again. in another 3-4 years we'll see if bergevin and Molson's 10 year plan works out. what exciting times for habs fans.
