I think Juolevi will get a call up if he starts well in Utica. The Canucks need to move some of the garbage out of their defensive corps before these young guys can really have an opportunity IMO. Otherwise its better for them to be top pairing guys in AHL/NCAA

So like 1 per year on average out of the guys drafted late

I’m fine with them taking on a long term project in the 6th or 7th round that they feel has upside as a future asset

I think part of it is that, compared to last year, having 2 second round picks made it a little more exciting. I am intrigued by Madden, but get a sense of safe on a lot of them

Looking at all of our prospects JB has drafted & traded for tells me BPA as much as i don’t always agree with it is in vogue next & future drafts. If not Hughes then a top 2D if there. Still I believe a trade or 2 has to happen whether preseason or at the TDL. Next season & the following season we look to be very young & many probably agree & should be entertaining.


The Seattle expansion will be a key time for us on who is protected. Idk who but it could get dicey.

You'd think after what we saw the last two days, there should be no problem moving a couple of D out of Van...
