On paper it is a Meh draft . Some of these players get super hyped by people like ourselves who say we really want them. I think I will trust the actual scouts until they prove they are Meh

I think part of it is that, compared to last year, having 2 second round picks made it a little more exciting. I am intrigued by Madden, but get a sense of safe on a lot of them

We only need one Karlsson and we got him.

I like Woo but he might have been taken a few spot early but the way defense was getting picked maybe not.

Hopefully madden can pack on some pounds.

When you dont have many picks its kinda tought to have a great draft.

Ryan Biech said he started off very good offensively and then got injured . When he came back his coach asked him to change his style and play more defensively when he started to struggle

I am not disappointed at all because I am going into the draft thinking only one or if lucky two players will play in the NHL. I am pretty sure Hughes will so already I am happy. I think there is at least a 65% chance that a second player will play in the NHL

Given there was a general consensus on a top 10 I felt relatively comfortable with who was going to be taken at 7 and was getting interested in some of the names/reports you guys were providing for 2nd rounders. The likes of Berrgren, Tychonick, Marchenko, Oloffson etc. would have been nice to be in a position to have added one of them as well

Today wasn't as interesting to me, but definitely not disappointed as I am excited by Hughes. To assess the draft based on where the franchise was before, they addressed a major hole, so I am happy

Also, he’s already pretty well built/strong so any scouting report that says he needs to add a lot more weight is probably made up by someone who doesn’t watch him play.
