He's only two years younger then Stecher, and put up 7 points in 60 games in Utica, can pump the breaks a bit on putting him on the roster.

I thought a few teams had a pretty ineffective draft . Edmonton Calgary Toronto Dallas

Might as well slot Woo in there since you're going full fantasyland

oilers throwing picks for goalies and a possible bust 1st rounder if he doesn't get a lot faster, the league is trending faster.

mcleod and Bouchard are pretty strong adds for Edmonton. Bahl and Hayton also are good prospects, even if hayton should have never been picked there. The others I agree, but Calgary got so much better with Hanafin and Lindholm, both young and heading into their prime production years. Treliving is a hell of a GM.

Winnipeg wanting to shed salary so they can keep Statsny.
Nilsson+Gaunce for Mason and Petan and a pick would make sense. Cap savings of at least 1.6 mill depending what Petan signs for

If you (Nighthawk) are going full fanansyland (predicting the future in your usual vague way) why not include Woo (our 2nd round pick) also. Is that more clear?

Hayton at 5 is dumb, passing on Zadina is dumb. Bahl at 55 is okay not really a big bang . After Bahl they did not do alot

Really?

I think Cgy lost that trade, no matter how much spin they put on it.
It was a good move in only that they wanted to cut ties with Hamilton and were going to lose the prospect, but i think Carolina came out on top there.

Calgary got better

Hamilton is better than Hanifin 10 days a week. Lindholm had less goals than Ferland
and 3 more points and Cgy loses their toughness . Not only that but one of their best prospects gave them the middle finger and said goodbye . How is that getting better . Not to mention the cost of getting Hamilton

If hanifin is that good why trade him and he was shopped vigerously.

Didn't mind ARZ's picks after Hayton, but wow I still can't get over that pick.

Questionable drafts for me were Chicago, Dallas, St.Louis, Washington

It's all about perspective, I'm very high on both Hanafin and Lindholm, Ferland was benefiting playing on lines he had no business being on and Fox way well just go to UFA. If you've got a guy that needs to go, getting two young guys that are just into their own is pretty stellar payment IMO. Lindholm is going to slot in beside johnny and monny, hanafin beside harmonic. I really top6 got much better, top4 got worse but not that much worse IMO. Hamilton is a tough loss though.

They didn't want to pay either guy, it's pretty straightforward and has been in the news for weeks.
