Fingers crossed that's the case. Jim hoping the team will be better next year rather than pick Jack Hughes was a bit disappointing to read. He could have deflected the question better, rather than give himself an opening to make moves to push for the playoffs

Given the Sedins are gone it will come down to how the kids respond to more TOI & if the D improves. In goal is where its all decided.

If Demko makes the team i see Marky getting pushed more.
JV can take the next step & i think its realistic.
OJ likely gets a shot.
Up to Hughes to make them play him
EP makes the team & won’t dissapoint but not replace the Sedins output.
Gaudette is where it gets more interesting & also where expectations need be tempered.
All in All a young team & highs & lows are ahead so by TAILSPIN i mean not the worst team but i’ve more optimism than that. I predict bottom 5. Could be wrong

Bottom 5 I think is an easy prediction. The Pacific division is already getting stronger, and bad teams like Detroit and Ottawa will have to play each other in their own division. Everyone that finished below VAN this year looks to have improved
