The thing is that Green will beg Benning not to trade Sutter even if Bozak is signed. Bozak is bad defensively and doesn't PK so he doesn't replace Sutter's role.

Green has Benning's ear so I can't see that scenario playing out.

Pick a side get off the fence. Go all in to win and bring in better players or get a definite top 4 pick and dump assets .

Sh1t or get off the pot

Don’t think they’re going to do either. Realistically, I’m just hoping for more flippable players to be signed and no more Gagner/Eriksson contracts.

Hutton has to come to camp in top shape for starters. From there he MUST stand out if he wants to stay in the NHL. Skating was his best asset but it was nowhere to be found last year.

According to cap friendly, no.
- Nucker101

Hey, Nucker -- I know you are right, but where do you see that on Capfriendly? I see he has played more than 60 games in the NHL, is 24 and has played two seasons in the NHL, and has a waiver signing age of 22 (so requires waivers based on age / seasons / number of games), but am curious about if / where it actually indicates that waivers would be required?

I really though d to be the priority based on JB, but am very pleasantly surprised as I unpack from camping. Hughes and Woo is a homerun imo. So stoked!

Gagner could be a buyout option if the kids impress. We’ve the time to eat his contract. As for LE i fully expect a renaissance season or the same will happen or traded or left for Seattle to pick up.

I like keeping Tanev Edler until TDL but they need to be flipped for first round players this year same with Sutter.

completely onboard!

I'd love to see the team have multiple picks in the first three rounds of next year's draft.

With a logjam of LHD it makes Edler the better option. Tanev is needed for awhile unless we get a top offer. If Hughes plays the right side then its get top dollar.

It comes back to Hutton again lol

Pouliot Hughes play both sides

Tanev Stecher Biega Tryamkin Gudbrandson .

They both should go at TDL . You can bring Edler back if you want. It is about time we had more than 1 first round pick . Look how quickly NYR turned their franchise from old and slow to picking 3 first round picks.

Really like the draft that the Senators, Wings and Islanders had.

Dobson and Wahlstrom... wow, what a cleanup with that double pick.

All good. No need to rush off to Starbucks to arm yourself. You may not have noticed the punctuation, it was posed as a question.
Someone was his cheerleader, clearly not you.

I don't see the need to buyout Gagner.

Some of these kids could look better than Gagner, but they could still use some time in the ahl. play some games, get some minutes.

we have some good prospects, but unless they are so good you can't keep send them to Utica, hopefully EP, I'd really like to see Utica as the expected starting point.

I should add I enjoy your lineups, and hope we do move some vets for picks and free up some roster spots. and then I still can't picture half the lines.

Pouliot & Tryamkin forced to play RHD.
Edler makes more sense to move IMO
As for NYR they have an expensive aging goalie & haven’t turned any corners yet but it is trending nicely. We didn’t have a McDonagh to trade so its moot. Tanev was injured & Edler & he have NTC’s. i said forcing Edler last offseason was an option but was shot down. He did play well.

No need to force Edler. Ask him politely can you change address for 3 months.

Nobody forced Pouliot to play RHD he does it naturally and Tryamkin grew up playing RHD. In Russia they ply you on the opposite side

always going to be haters. The league is going small and this is a special talent. I don't think I'm as optimistic he plays in van this year as probably some on here are (I'm guessing) but the talent is pretty crazy with this kid. Electric player with the puck on his stick.
