Faulk just turned 26 and has 5 consecutive 30+ point seasons. I like Pesce more as well but I don't think he'd cost more than Faulk. I think the only reason Carolina would trade Faulk is because he only has 2 years left on his current deal.

Folks I'm so confused. It looks like the Leafs will be one of the few teams to get a meeting with John Tavares.
I was assured by UG that there were no reasons why JT would consider signing with the Leafs, but this throws my whole thinking into chaos.
We all know UG could never be wrong, so is this some joke from JT? What gives?
Also, when is the meeting with Nashville? UG told me they are the front runners

It's called negotiation. You can't ask for more money where you are unless you can get it somewhere else.
And notice the teams that are in on this. Dallas (no state tax), Tampa Bay (no state tax and a legit contender) and Nashville (no state tax and a legit contender). Big (frank)ing surprise. Only been saying that for months now. |
