Bench penalties? So what? Doesn't mean much. Those are poopty line changes and half the time the fault of the players.
Babcock makes everybody earn everything. It's not a bad thing but over a long period of time it gets to be a tired message. It happens to every coach, on every team eventually. When he left Detroit, Zetterberg said it was time for him to go. Every coach has an expiry date.
He needs better players, especially on D, before you can really compare him to those teams. - Unholy_Goalie
there were lot of challenges/non challenges this past season too.
i like him, but he does a lot of things that make me wonder. |

October 21, 1998. So he was 2 months from being a '99 baby. He was past the cutoff for the year 2016 draft, and his draft year was only one year ago, where he had ankle surgery and a poopty year, in part, because of that surgery.
And he was projected as a 2nd round pick by most organizations, but you don't think he should've been picked with a 2nd rounder... Yeah, it would've been interesting seeing Dubas trying to draft him in the 6th round when someone else already took him in the 2nd round, cause Dubas was too busy listening to your nuggets of wisdom to draft him with a 2nd.

Not. Impressed.
At his age, his numbers weren't that great. Would have rather taken Calen Addison for example. Same style, younger, better numbers, way more room to grow. Jacob Olofsson was there too, so was Hallander, both equally talented and ranked higher. |

The way the NHL was dealing with certain challenges for 90% of the season were tough to deal with. I think Babcock has a couple more years left of rope. Also, if you were to fire Babcock, who could replace him and do a better job? Not sure there's many guys out there available that could. |

49 points in 40 games, along with 16 points in 11 games in the playoffs. How awful, a PPG RHD. |

Ya Dubas: Way to go off the friggen board with this overage pick that came out of no where. Probably wouldn't have been picked till the 7th round anyway. Unlike the brilliant pick by Hunter in the second round last year of Korshkov - that highly touted scoring sensation, he's probably 10 years away from being a legit NHL player if ever.

Hunter sucks too. UG is smarter than Hunter and Dubas combined. |

These guys spent so long arguing over picks they know (frank) all about, they forgot to come up with Kyle Dubust. Bunch of frankin amateurs. |

I've had some good ones over the years but this one is a true classic from the Leafs/Sens thread.
And no he can't. |
