I don't know what people expected to happen.

The Rags and Stars both reached letting the favorite of the majority of people to be picked. That pick also fills a huge need btw.

You got a project at 19 who could pan out to be Pavelski-like. At worst we only need him to be a decent 3C down the road.

Not to mention they finally stopped ignoring US born players for once.

Anderson's cap hit is high, he is a risk after a bad season, it could be enough to include Weise. Nuevy Lyon and Weise for Anderson and a 3rd

With some of the draft results Hextall has had....I’m willing to trust him on this....even though I saw a “young” Brent Burns....in Miller.

I think it was a really good trade. Even if the pick ends up being somewhere in the middle of the first, it could have a lot of value. NBA has already said they anticipate 2021 being the first year high schoolers can enter the draft again. That means it would include almost two draft classes in one.

I would hold off on a Kawhi trade unless he makes clear he's willing to sign with the Sixers if they're a contender.

I think Smith is an excellent choice for them. Able to chip in offense and is stellar defensively. Bridges shot well at Nova but a lot of folks were unsure about how he's gonna translate to the NBA
