Thank you, and you're welcome.
I just thought it pertinent, considering that's what some others have said about at least Sam on here. - Powerslave
I heard similar things about eichel, from a friend who works from Amtrak and had a long convo with a couple nhl refs.
Seems eichel really liked partying with Kane.
Let’s hope with Kane gone so is the blow and late partying |

What's your first trade? Then I'll consider signing. 😂 - Powerslave
McCabe for McDavid, Chiarelli will be the right amount of intoxicated and he won’t be able to tell the difference.
My second move would be to retire. |

This board needs to remember NOT to kill the messenger.
Thanks for sharing, every bit of information is great - Shadman306
Just so long as the messenger isn't a total (frank) trumpet, yeah.
I'm not saying our pharaoh friend is, just that that statement isn't always true vis a vis messengers. |

That's where Eichel and Snortin' Sam come into play. They take Chiarelli out on the town, and McDavid is yours.

I'll give you that. The only reason I shared it, like I said, is that it seems to be a theme here with these guys, or at least one of them. Let's hope they get (frank)ing serious here next year. |

Kinda makes you wonder if that’s the issue in the clubhouse between players.
ROR: Guys you cant come in here coked out of your minds before practice/games
Eichel/Rhino: You’re not my dad! |

From what I’ve heard, and again it’s third person.
Is that eichel is good regardless of his off work actions.
He tends to ride everyone to try harder so they will play better even though eichel plays well with poor habits.
RoR is the type to try really hard and dedicate his life on and off the ice to the game and he still falls short of eichel.
This obviously breeds tension and creates a divide in the locker room.
One is super talented and doesn’t practice what he preaches and one is less talented and preaches what he thinks is right.
I think a lot gets better when eichel matures. This will lead to winning and the combination of all that should help unite the locker room |

So you would be fine with trading the first fourth for the last pick?
It’s nothing to freak over, but apart from a secret side deal cut, that is a mismanaged asset.
There may be something behind it but if not, that’s bad. Not horrific, but bad. - gcomella34
What if the player in the 6th round next year has a higher grade than anyone they had left on their board this year....some of the stupid things you whine about are laughable reminds me when we lost Corey "frikin" Tropp on waivers a few years back, thought the sky was falling.

I know right ! People debating the future of our team based on a trade of 6th rounders that have a 95% chance of never playing a game in the show is nauseating |

Not debating the future of the team, stop using a straw man.
I am evaluating the value JB got from a sixth round pick relative to what other GM’s got. They got more for a lesser pick. This is not a subjective observation rather an objective one.
JB got less value for the pick he gave when compared to others. That is all I’m saying. Whether the prospect drafted with next years sixth compared to this years sixth is irrelevant. The question is will the prospect they should have gotten for next years fifth would be better.
It’s not going to break the team but it was a small failure. |

Because we stand a better chance of getting a better player in the fifth that he should have gotten. |

This reminds of a scene in the movie Colors with Duvall and Penn.
There's two bulls standing on top of a mountain.
The younger one says to the older one:
"Hey pop, let's say we run down there and (frank) one of them cows".
The older one says:
"No son.
Lets walk down and (frank) 'em all". |

ROR isn't exactly a stranger to the coke either, team needs a Chris Drury type as serious and professional as they come, also helped having guys like Grier and Numminen around |
