Someone needs to explain to me why a highly touted defenseman like Hamilton gets traded twice. - Michael Pachla
Not sure, I’ve heard some interviews with really vague things about him being “weird” or “different”. I really have no idea at all what that may mean though |

If they just swapped 6th round picks by year, than they feel there's nothing left in this draft. - sskkoo1
t.o. picked a left winger then the sens picked a goaltender |

Are the Sabres trading their 7th for a 7th next year? |

Yeah, but we just dumped the 1st pick in the 6th round, to pick up a 6th round pick next year which won't be the first pick. Makes no sense. I can only think that the Sabres aren't seeing anything left that they would take a stab at. |

You’re not the first person to suggest that either. But it would be really backwards to be trading someone away because of which parts they like |

Complete fabrication.
But of course I support Die Mannschaft. The transition to the younger kids was necessary and if they can get ahead they probably will attack today to help w differential. |

You’d think by putting it off a year, the Leafs would have to throw in something else like a 7th |

I would have assumed that. This move is a head scratcher. |

Doesn't Brian Burke work for them?
Burke would NOT let them trade a player because he's gay.

Brian Burke is a huge gay rights advocate. There's no way he would allow that to be a reason |

Not guaranteed by any means, but Dougie Hamilton’s arrival in CAR could enhance the chances of Justin Faulk being traded. BTW, Faulk’s NTC kicks in July 1.

I wouldn't give much for Faulk, I've heard his play has been slipping, and we're getting pretty tight on defensive spots, anyway. |

I’m not saying he’s gay. Just saying there’s been some odd interviews about him. |

If he is gay, I'm saying there's no way Burke would let that be any kind of reason for him to be traded. You Can Play is his legacy. If it was a problem in the locker room, Burke would move whoever has a problem with it |
