First i would like to congratulate Coga and the Avs for getting the 1OA pick from the sens in 2019 and landing Jack Hughes.

Second...this is a horrendous pick by OTT, Zadina willl be a 30 goal+ 60+ points winger while Katchuk will struggle to score 15 goals, 40 points, he will be the next Zack smith IF he ever wears a sens jersey as he might pull a Vesey on OTT.

Tkachuk will either be at Boston University or with Ottawa. I`m expecting him to play the year at BU and sign an entry level contract at the end of the year.

He said he wants to start in the NHL, but it's anyone's guess as to whether that will happen.

I like Tkachuk and think he’s a better prospect than what his numbers suggest but lol

Personally, I always suspected the Sens would go with Tkachuk, a Chris Neil with lots more talent. Yes Zadina came more highly touted, but then again he was picked 6th, so the professional scouts on the Sens and other teams must have seen something that warranted him dropping a few spots.

I also liked the trade with New York for two picks instead of one.

But by far the biggest news was Karlsson not being traded! With shipping out Hoffman and being relatively quiet during the draft, perhaps they are serious about making a pitch to extend their captain - I sure hope so.
