Next goalie taken was the consensus op ranked one!

We better know something other teams don't. We try and zing when everyone else zags...

We're trading #70, probably for 2 picks in the 4th round

He and Smelly seemed to think Kravtsov was a good pick. Time will tell.
Way too many pages to read through, so I skipped to the end.

Summary: Basically some rando named bluesharts69 is unhappy.

Thanks for clarification. I did see a list or two that had him first overall though.

I’m sure it was. Still baffled by it but would any of us be mad if the rangers reached for hank in round 2? If we end up with 2 elite goalie prospects we can get some good pieces in a trade down the line.... or he’s a complete bust and we can female dog for years about it

6. Olof Lindbom – Djurgårdens IF J20 (SuperElit)
About as “new school” technical as a goaltender can come. Anticipates well and has shown the ability to read plays at the junior level, but will that carry over? A lack of overall explosiveness and balance issues could cause him to slip.

Yeah, I mean anyone forward we would have picked probably wouldn't be ready for probably 3+ years. Still probably would have went that way, but if Allaire saw something, I'm in no position to argue against that.

Im delusional?!!!!!!!!

Cytil was youngest player in last years draft and he made the team out of training camp....Anderrson played at end of season and looked good too.

Just b/c you and others wanted Whalstrom doesn't mean crap! Kravtsov is a top end talent who is more dynamic. Miller is said to have higher ceiling than anyone in draft! Swede dman is GREAT pick, especially at #28.

As far as the goalie.......Hank is gone in 2-3 years, and last time I checked 99% of starting goalies come from teams draft. WE have NO idea what development current goalies need.

At this years deadline NYR picked up a ton of prospects! Howden, Lindgren, Rykov, etc. Its like we had 3 drafts in the last 12 months.

I'm not delusional, just excited about the gluten of talent now in the organization.

I like Whalstrom too, but picking between him and our #9 is a coin flip and anyone who says other wise is simply a blowheart! You would NYR rather pick Dobson over dynamic russian forward who raked it in KHL playoffs as an 18 yr old. and rookie of the year to boot!!!??
