Very happy with Miller, he’s one of the guys I wanted, think it was a steep price to pay to move up 4 spots but who knows if he would’ve been there. I’d be happy if we started moving some guys to add picks today, some good players still left.

I’m very into Noel or Berggren still

Berggren is my Lundkvist ala Matt

LHD that are 25 and under for this team. Day, Gilmour, O'Gara, Skjei, Hajek, Lindgren, Rykov, Miller. That is a lot.

Makes you wonder tho if Day is out if the plans now. Which sucks

Trade you exclusive negotiating rights to Grabner for him.

He can which is good. So him being converted forward will help. But if the Rangers try to pigeon hole him into being the enforcer than what is the point if he has skill?
- tomburton99

Just bc u can clear a crease and fight doesn’t mean ur an enforcer. U however, are a clown.

Haven’t heard much about him lately. I think he’s behind Lindgren and Hajek for sure, with Skjei still here also not sure where that puts him. Pretty sure he plays the right side though, or can play the right side. Might be his only way onto the team.

I like the pick, thought he would be gone by 17, I wanted Sandin coming in since I thought he would be more realistic as far as being available.

This team needs any amount of toughness it can muster. And not cheap UFA uselss toughness

Would it be fair to say Smith is a slightly less dynamic skating version of Hughes?

Don't expect him to be a #1 center. But he'll be good.

Who’s the next pure goal scorer available? I imagine that area gets harder to find at this point

No we need to be soft soft soft, there’s no more need for toughness, everyone drafted should be under 6’ and 170 lbs at most skill skill skill speed speed speed. If you know how to fight or check ur a useless plug.

Skill and speed is the game now. If you listened to Gorton you'd know.

I suppose, seems a lot of scouts are impressed with Smiths defense for a puck mover, which is good since beyond an old Andy Greene and Will Butcher Devils have nothing on the left side.

The best player available is Wilde. He's got a ton of upside, but is pretty dumb. The best goal scorer is Noel. Think of Noel more like Nash or JVR. He goes to the net to score his goals. But he's not really like Wilson or Simmonds in terms of throwing his weight around.

I guess the only worry I have with Miller is didn't he only recently transition to a D man? Still so raw. He is going to need all 4 years in college to round out his game I feel. Might make him tough to sign?
