The more I think about it I'm kind of glad they went with the Russian forward because if they took Dobson no way they would have took my boy Nils later. |

I don't really care as much about Dobson

I like kravtsov dammit. Better than Wahlstrom. Rangers did a great job with kravtsov and Miller |

Dobson is gonna be good. Think like Mcdonagh but Right handed. He'll only score 35-45 to 4 points but he's gonna just a really good d-man. |

the Wings blogger guy needs to realize they pick 33rd and 36th and will get 2 very solid defensemen - jimbro83
They got a top 3 talent at 6th overall. You make that pick 100% of the time. |

Wahlstrom was a favorite for that pick too. Shoot 1st guy would have been awesome for the Rangers. Everyone saying he needs a good center to play with, so that would be a minus for us. |

oh yeah, I think he will
but lets just agree that the Rangers have been hammering acquiring blueline prospects since the deadline
it's basically been the primary focus, we just really need to hope they took the next Tarasenko yesterday |

The hockey gods owe the Rangers one with the Russian kid that passed away. Hopefully he’s a Kucherov or Tarasenko |

Wahlstrom would have been great with Hayes because Hayes, as we've seen loves to pass. Even on breakaeays. |

This is just like when they drafted Dylan Mcllrath in 2010! Rather than go with more of a sure thing they gamble with the 9th over all. If your going to gamble you could have done that with the 26th or 28th or even traded up like you did. In 2010 you could have picked Cam Fowler, Valdimir Tarasenko, Nick Bujugstad, Kevin Hayes and Broc Nelseon just to name a few. - RangerFan1110
How do you know he isnt a Taresenko?

I think we need to try and pick up an extra pick or 2 early in the 2nd round, still a lot of good talent left that fell. |

looks like Stepan been banging his wife constantly since he was traded

I was wondering if they'll trade down from 39 to pick up an extra pick
I kind of hope they stay there and pick BPA |

Its not about that dummy. Its about the 9 pick plus adding potential later. Rangers have a ton of d prospects. Dynamic forward is way more important |

Also have some roster players that could bring a second. Or for the right player, the two third rounders could move you into the second round. For the right quality, I’m willing to give up the quantity.
I’ll say trading the 48 made it less likely they’ll take a goalie earlier today. |

Thought with the way the draft was going there would have been way more trades of teams trying to move up. |

So I'm guessing these next picks are going to be all about adding forwards? |

Kravstov will be this year’s Tolvanen except drafted around the right spot, last year at 7 we reached for 13, this year we reached a little closer, I wanted Wahlstrom too but how can you argue with a kid compared to Kuznetsov but bigger? |
