Yes, in that he had suddenly risen up in draft ranking in 2018, due to his offensive strengths, including seeing the ice very well in leading the way. His one fault which can be worked on and taught to correct, is with his defensive play at times in his own end, due mostly to improper positioning, which a competent coaching staff can address and correct. That could then make him close to a Girardi in durability, but with better offensive skills, minus Girardi's extra "warrior" type defensive game heroics. - RangerSaver

Happy with our picks?
Miller has top pairing potential imo.
We need to add a goalscorer at #39 - hopefully Berggren is still there - 21peter
all in all I am happy
we didn't pass on Wahlstrom and take the 22nd ranked guy, we took a guy a lot of people felt who could creep into the top 10, who exploded when he got a full time role in the KHL playoffs
the other two picks were solid
here's a 2nd round re-mock and they have Berggren going to Rangers
You were wise to know that there was no way Florida was going to pass on a talented Hispanic kid at 15 :-)
And let it be said, that if Zadina and Veleno were available at the Wings picks, I would have taken them. :-) - Pete V
hahahaha
the Wings and Islanders stepped in poop with their picks, I can't call either team brilliant, just lucky as hell, but both teams improved exponentially
the Islanders getting Wahlstrom, when they have Bellows coming, Beauvillier looks terrific, Barzal is Godly, Tavares is probably coming back, great coach, I mean, what can you say, they will be a force, no denyng it.

obviously would've liked to have that #48 pick and draft someone we could torture Devils fans for 'for years', but who knows if Miller would still be there at #26...
