That could then make him close to a Girardi in durability, but with better offensive skills, minus Girardi's extra "warrior" type defensive game heroics.

Rangers really didn't "go off the board"

they just didn't take the obvious choice when other team's went off the board, that's what I think anyway

was very disappointed they didn't take Wahlstrom but, I had seen Kravtsov's name creeping up in a lot of mock drafts recently

the Rangers swung for the fences talent wise here, I believe Gorton when he says he was the 2nd highest forward on their board

This draft is never going to go away for years though with the Islanders getting two guys we all wanted

the comparisons will never end, it's really gonna be something else

oh, after Dahlin and Svechnikov, who is the only person in our mock draft that correctly picked what the team actually did????

we didn't pass on Wahlstrom and take the 22nd ranked guy, we took a guy a lot of people felt who could creep into the top 10, who exploded when he got a full time role in the KHL playoffs

the other two picks were solid

the Wings and Islanders stepped in poop with their picks, I can't call either team brilliant, just lucky as hell, but both teams improved exponentially

the Islanders getting Wahlstrom, when they have Bellows coming, Beauvillier looks terrific, Barzal is Godly, Tavares is probably coming back, great coach, I mean, what can you say, they will be a force, no denyng it.
