Wanted Wahlstrom a guy who's a goal scorer and looks to shoot 1st don't know much about the guy they took other then we won't see him for at least a few years not thrilled with pick considering the players they had to choose from. But I can definitely see Wahlstrom killing us everytime we play Isles

He got Trotz, the Isles were the only team in the NHL without a coach, can't have been that hard.
Matthews at number one? My cat would have drafted him at number 1.
He got good picks in this draft, but I'm sure scouting had those guys earmarked before Lou hit the Island.

In hinesight I regret being upset. Just had an expectation and excitement over the possibility of Dobson or Walhstrom. But man we will see if it was smart to pass up both em with them both being Islanders. Will be looked back on for years.

No idea about these players but it seems the Isles finally got it right. Rather have seen a trade, but it sounds like Isles could not pass on these kids.
