Alot hinges on hanifin. If he can turn into a true top pair guy that transports the puck and gets in the range of 40, it’s probably a win for the flames long term.

Only thing there is that they traded their top line RW in Ferland in that deal and still want to be able to give Jankowski minutes so I imagine he'll settle in mostly with Mony and Gaudreau. Unless of course they plan on adding another significant winger.

Ferland was used as a top line RW but I think it’s a big reach to call him that. Just like I wouldn’t call Maroon a top line winger and I think Maroon has more skill than Ferland. They were both carried in those roles by skilled line mates. I think there are quite a few options for them to slot in beside Mony and Jony

Alfie overrates every Sen prospect and player. Suggesting trades such as Methot for Nuge with a possible + on the Oilers side. Fukboy overrates mediocre Oilers like Iiro thinking they should be top 6 players on any squad let alone the Oilers. They are most definately different posters. In my opinion they're equally moronic and neither should exist.
