Only because legit no one has been able to in 10 years. He makes the team better, when Van needs another top player. Hard to get that unless somehow Van wins the draft lotto. Picking 10-15 doesnt give Van what they need.

I'd sooner take a player like that who doubled production since last year than a player who was an early favorite but stagnated in his draft year.
