I’d be happy trading up to get wahlstrom assuming it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Do you think 39 would get it done or would it need to be one of our later firsts or a roster player?

If they draft a defensemen with 9, there is always the chance of the typical Russian slide down the draft board because teams are afraid to draft them. I would not be surprised in Denisenko is there at 26, or if Kravtsov might be within minor trade up territory in the late teens/early 20s. So many teams just don't want the Russian headache.

I think 48 or 70 is reasonable and I’d be good with that. I would take tkachuk over Boqvist and Bouchard but if it’s tkachuk vs Hughes/Dobson I think I’d take the defenseman. Obviously it’s less likely Hughes or Dobson would be there at 9
