So what would the general sentiment here be if Stevie Y traded McDonagh to the Isles so he could go all-in on Karlsson? - eichiefs9
I wouldn't care much. I think you would actually end up losing a trade like that actually, McDonagh hasn't seemed right in awhile. Not saying he won't find it again, but there is something off with him right now.

I think that's true. The Habs have done some strange things chasing that number 1 center, however, one of which we really benefited from. - Pete V
This is true. But Gomez was dog poop compared to Toews. |

I guess it would depend on the price. I'm not really dying for it to happen, I was really just breaking everyone's balls a little. I'd take him if the price was right, but for a nearly-30yo defenseman on the decline who's going to be a UFA in a year...I wouldn't pay very much. |

I think he is back to himself next season and possibly looking at a career year. He is too good in certain respects not to rebound. |

Because it would probably take 11, 12 and Barzal or something like that.

Maybe the 12 but certainly not both. But this draft class at least in the first round has a lot of value. |

Damn I’d need some kind of stream I think. Unless they have an app. I have NBCSN on my phone, I was hoping they had it. I’ll be at work, crapping in buckets |

Yeah, it's funny. Last year the majority of this board didn't pay attention to prospects. Then we acquired that pick and it was like a 5 hour rush to educate ourselves on who we could possibly take at 7, followed by crushing disappointment when we weren't even close.
This year, we've spend five months on this poop, so everyone is like Button, McKenzie or McGuire. |
