i took a dek Hockey ball to the nuts without a cup once. Still feeling it 25 yrs later

If they were those old Mylec Orange colored street hockey balls, I could see why, tj.
Mylec also made what were known as "Cold Weather" street hockey balls back then, which were Royal Blue in color, and much softer than those initially made Orange ones, which were like a brick in the cold weather.

its really because I had gigantic balls. But there were chicks on the bench and they all rubbed them for me, so that was nice

That blue ball was a damn sponge. And they made that pink ball, which if used in cold weather was literally harder than diamonds.

Don't blame Pete. He lives next to one of those industrial dumps that Norway is known for. Lots of pollutants in the ground water up there, not his fault.

I remember playing Dek Hockey in Oakdale once, being so tired and getting onto the bench and there was not one place to sit because there were so many girls on the bench

What the frack!!! I played Mylec hockey for years up here where it's cold most of the time (true story!) and we never had anything but the orange balls!! And they hurt like hell.
(We had to supply our own blue balls)

Oakdale? I'm a little afraid to ask this because I'm worried you'll be really close but where do you live?

As reported here long ago, Rangers have no interest in Dougie Hamilton. Flames believed not to have made Adam Fox available but sure sounds like Travis Hamonic could be had.

The Flames wouldn't get back what they paid for Hamonic.

Ah hah. That "air" was too much for you to react to in time, despite just having to use only one hand.

There were indeed Mylec blue balls. The reason why you never probably used them is that it had to be 30 below zero or otherwise it was like playing hockey with a nerf ball. You think the orange balls were bad. The pink ones were the worst.

Remains unlikely given the state of the team, but told Kovalchuk still has eyes for Rangers.

I'm in Farmingdale, went to West Babylon high school and played Dek Hockey in Oakdale 25 years ago.

When I was a kid they made three. Orange, yellow, and red. All had fluid inside so they bounced less and they were for different temps like mentioned. One cracked because the temp was too low while we were using it once.

Edit: These balls were made by Franklin I think.
