I mentioned this in our own thread, it can be tweaked a bit but i think its fair. 10, next years first, Nurse, and Jesse P for EK and Stone.

Sigh....why do people still put Lucic in these dumb offers when there is a zero percent chance he would ever waive to go to Ottawa. He has full no move and controls where and if he goes anywhere.
- Iggysbff

Lucic will waive his no movement clause to go to Ottawa because he wants out of Canada.

While that may qualify as the stupidest comment for the day, any player actually wanting to go to Ottawa and join that poopshow would be dumber.

Watch it be for William Karlsson on top of that.

LoL its close. Stone might be pushing the deal a bit in the wrong direction but it's not significantly off. Eks skill isn't the only thing to consider in evaluating his value. His health is a huge risk for any team who is going to bankrupt their system to land him. There has to be some give from ottawa as well specially if EK wants out. Ottawa will get royally (frank)ed if they believe he's going to land a rediculous haul only to lose him for nothing In a year anyway.

McKenzie made the interesting case for Vegas getting Karlsson this time around as he feels they're a team that could take Ryan off their hands.

That would be amazing. They could afford to lose Neal and or Perron for Ryan if they can get Ryan back to a 20-30-50 guy.

I can assure you it wasn't stupid. The rest of Canada would be overjoyed if Ottawa was no longer part of the country.

If I'm Vegas, I'm staying put, but if they are going to be big buyers then this makes a lot of sense.

Yes, they'd be grossly overpaying Bobby Ryan to do what Perron does, but they'd be getting a franchise defenseman.

If Vegas would like, I could talk to Rutherford about returning the favor for the Brassard deal and take Bobby Ryan of their hands at half price.... I kid, I kid.

But yeah, I think Vegas is a team in the position to pull that off.

Nash in Montreal? Definitely a Bergevin type move. Perfect candidate to play C for them.

Thanks.

I love Canada but I am aware there is a lot I don't understand about Canada.
