Giants fan right? Don't blame you. Lions are at least entertaining currently.

The Giants should be fun to watch this year. You can't really beat those weapons. Just don't know whether the QB and offensive line are any good.

Last season didn't help, that's for sure. But I've been heading that way with football for awhile. Too many commercials, pace of play is asinine, and I generally just find 95% of the league to be entirely unlikable.

Hoping Saquon gets me back into it though.

I'm not convinced that OSU, PSU, MSU or Wisconsin are any better than UM
- Feds91Stammer

Neither am I, but going on the road to ND, MSU and OSU is tough.

I feel like I would watch the league much less if it weren't for Fantasy Football.

I think it would have to a be a very good deal to even consider it. Seems like when they traded to McDonagh they also committed to keeping Skjei around for awhile.

I also wonder what Zucc's value would be? Seems like scuttle from the last couple of weeks has him staying put.

if they did, depending on the return of course, could indicate that they think Hajek could make team immediately

I guess maybe I'd watch more if I did fantasy, but I just don't have it in me. I watch the Giants game every week and maybe one other one at half-attention.

Let's say you wanted to make a pure hockey trade for Skjei -- defense for comparable forward in skill and age. What would be the type of deal, realizing that we don't know who is on the market or not?

JRR, you'll appreciate this one (the rest of you just sit and take it!!) -

When my daughter was a young we were teaching her about rhyming and the very first time I gave her an example, she says, "Oh, you mean like truck, and (frank)?"

- Tonybere

I bet my daughter does something similar eventually.

I tried the football thing but gave up.

How did you feel about their treatment of Eli? From an outside perspective it seemed totally poopty.

It was garbage and I hope Ben McAdoo gets run over by a bus, twice. Like, two separate buses.

Alex Debrincat, and I'd take Connor Murphy's salary along with him to help them out

Oh, I'm aware!
Just hope it doesn't drive up prices and screw with quality!
Although, the government issue stuff I've sampled so far is . Expensive though.

I’m betting Smith has a good year, showed that he realized he messed up last year and stayed this summer to work on his conditioning. If they’re looking to have a left side of Staal Hajek Smith for now with Lindgren coming in a year or so, depending on the return Skjei could be dealt. I think he’s a very solid 2nd pair guy and would toss last season out as just the whole team being bad.

I'd rather just keep him unless he is part of a package for a great player.

Tom, you realize that they still have to win the lottery, right?

Just asking because sometime I think that gets lost in tank fever.

Because you know that if the Rangers finish dead last with like 30 points they are still going to pick 4th.

Just so they field a decent team and don’t have to worry too much about it being a top 3 next year, why not trade the 4 this year for a few good roster players, hold onto Karlsson until the deadline and try and add a FA or 2. Be competitive/middle of the pack until the deadline then pray. (Obv with the lottery nothing is guaranteed but they wouldn’t be in the bottom 3 most likely)
