Yeah that was weird. I really like Akil Thomas. He won't ever be a #1 center. But if the Rangers can get depth like they had in 13/14 and 14/15 seasons than Thomas could fit in nicely. He reminds so much of Stepan but at the dot and a much better skater.

It definitely serves them well to take 2D/1F or 2F/1D, not 3 of the same. Also the second rd seems to be forgotten a bit, looks like there will be lots of quality still around
