Given DeHaans injury history, i dont see a reason to lock him up. He's not going to be worth what he gets paid. I'd rather see them spend elsewhere.

How many of you would include Kiefer Bellows in a package for Karlsson?

Also, if I remember correctly from the deadline rumors, it seemed like Karlsson and Bobby Ryan were going to be a package deal. Thats a lot of salary.

I like Bellows, but I’d have to agree. The guy is an elite puck moving dman. Tops in NHl and fulfills the need for a true #1, letting leddy be 2 or him & Boychuk to anchor middle pair.

I do however think Karlsson ends up on the Oilers. They've needed that calibur D man for as long as the isles. They also have a lot of assets to give. Chiarelli is a gun slinger and i think he's gonna pull the trigger on this deal.
