Wouldn't be surprised if they did...someone might have got hurt feelings for constantly being wrong all the time.. i would read most of Noels and Dans posts but these novels are just way over the top..plus his language towards posters is inappropriate to say the least.. best day in Isles land in more then 12 years..heck best day since late 80's

Ek is roomering that the Isles are offering your #11 and #12 for Karlsson.

I don't think that's enough (feel free to disagree), but it did seem like a good starting point in discussions with Ottawa. If you did that (and of course re-sign JT), it really does scoot you up a ladder in the NHL snakes and ladders game, doesn't it?

Would you fellas be interested? Keep in mind, I'm saying that's not enough: you'd need to probably kick in a blue-chipper or your 2019 1st rounder (some will say that's still not enough).

If they make that trade they are not addressing their biggest concern at Goalie and just lost 2 huge assets in those 2 picks. While I would love to have Karlsson on the Isles... they need to use those picks to get a goalie.. first and foremost.

Also.. if they are going to sign JT for 11 mill ish a year they can't really afford Karlsson's contract without someone taking some back.

Also, if I remember correctly from the deadline rumors, it seemed like Karlsson and Bobby Ryan were going to be a package deal. Thats a lot of salary.
