Good job Isles on the coaching hire. But, with the loser Boychuk(34) & Ladd(32) contracts from Snow, they need to move them losers via trade keeping a bit of salary, or terminate. Those are two players that the Islanders MUST move on from period, in order to restructure the D and FW positions. The goalies Griess & Halak suck, they also need to be traded or let go for the Isles to step up this next season with a new goalie tandem, that's if Tavares stays...I hope he does. Pick up some solid free agents that are not some crazy lengthy contracts, and have some young kids come up into the bottom 6. Lou!

This is the only strictly-hockey site I post on. I talk hockey on another site, but I’m really the only Isles fan of the bunch there.

I’m still unable to determine how I’m supposed to process good news after two decades worth of bullpoop from this franchise. I’ve been conditioned to try and find a silver lining in a pile of dung, this is a new experience and will take some time to understand it’s not someone playing a cruel joke.

Can understand your pain ..but snow..should be able to still talk to Chia! ..barzel and ebbs trades ..and that harmonic trade with Calgary!..congratulations .there's a lot more to come.. Karlsson /Carlson? .goaltender! .scoring winger! ..and..including the playoffs! ..the east better take notice! .have a great weekend guys!

No idea. Never heard of them before. Figured I'd throw it up there anyway. Might as well keep the good feelings going.

JT is waiting for the cap to be finalized, he wants what is the rightful percentage of the cap for a player of his caliber. Hopefully by draft tomorrow it will be done and all teams can move on.

And there you go 79.5, so if a contract is in place for the lawyers to look at then he knows his numbers. If he gets around 13% it will be 10.3 mil.
