Prepare yourselves! I'm about to compliment Ron Hextall.

I'm excited for the draft because I think this is exactly what Hextall does well. I think he goes to the draft knowing exactly who he wants and he gets him. Even if by some miracle if the Flyers won the draft lottery one year ago, I still think he would have picked Nolan Patrick, which I think is great! I think he wanted Ivan Provorov all along with the 7th pick (if I'm not mistaken). Hextall traded up to get Travis Konecny. He traded back and took German Rubtsov.

I think the draft is where Hextall truly shines.
