Fair point. I could see Detroit doing it before Ottawa and in that case they'd have to bet on them being better over those two years.
A better deal would be a team like Dallas, who has the forwards, making the trade for a Dman. |

I agree. I think they should standpat but they don't have any real picks due to Hamonic. So I can see them making a move.
I'm surprised there's no real talk of Bennett on the move. I'd look at him as a depth player/pick up like a Brett Connolly. |
