Bingo, (frank) off with that crappy proposal. CAR would be adding. CGY shouldn’t do it unless it’s Lindholm, Hanifin or another good young D and the 2nd OA.
To trade Hamilton it needs to be an overpay. And this is acceptable to me. Maybe we take Darling’s contract and they throw in Zykov, with Brouwer and another piece from us going back.
Then we flip Darling and another piece to CHI for Saad. 👍

i think to key is to trade something that chia overvalues and needs. i think he needs garinder for is PP, but he undervalues gardiner.

the other thing they need is wingers. he's going to overvalue brown from his junior days having chemistry with mcdavid.

so brown + 25 for 10 + something else (who knows what chia will offer)

maybe throw sparks in too. i could see chia flipping talbot to NYI.

Forget Lucic, no way you want him on this team unless Chia chows down on about $2 mil per season. He's 30 - (with high mileage) Five years left at $6 million cap hit per season. Klefbom and the 10th , for Zaitsev, Brown, Bracco and the 25th would be better for the Buds.
