Yeah, it’d be a longshot but for the first time in forever I could see it happening.
It’d probably be more lowkey though. Like a Kyle Turris thing where he signs and plays but eventually wants out - Nucker101
a college kid might be the one to do it. A Turris thing maybe, but with college kids they can always Hayes/Wheeler/Butler/etc. or make the team sweat their ass hard enough they trade the kid after 2 years of college instead. |

My boat has a Transom with a Transducer on it. My tool shed has a Transit in it.... unless one of the Transients around here stole it....

Why would anyone take Bouchard? The guy can't turn fast enough to stop the opposition. He's a volume shooter who will put up 30 assists a year and 5goals. Guess whos another high draft pick with a cannon who can't accelerate fast? Gudbrandson and Cam Barker.
Take wahlstrom or bodqvist or dobson(in that order), go for a home run instead of continually bunting for the safe single.

Wahlstrom seems to be the most commonly “approved” prospect in here.
Does anyone other than myself or DCT not have him ranked top 7? |

I wouldn't be unhappy with tchunk even if he's not a home run style pick.
I don't think koktiny is in the same class |

FYI- your survey equipment is called a transom, not a transit, please focus on reality, not some dream of , Boyqvist, becoming the next Karlson!😀 - Reubenkincade

I bet he’s afraid of ending up in Ottawa especially
Maybe he’s “tanking” for Detroit or Chicago - Nucker101
id imagine several prospects are crapping themselves hoping it's not ottawa.
The nhl guys traded to ottawa the other day may be fashioning nooses |

I agree that the back end needs a shake up, but lets start with the lesser talented players. I would much rather see Stecher and Hutton moved for a low ball offer, Tanev has great defensive value while both Stecher and Hutton struggle at the defensive side of the game.
I'm with Carol, if there are no good offers I'd rather Tanev stays. - Makita
I remember when people on this board thought this guy Tanev was worth a first rounder... I also remember saying to trade him when the trading was good... Hope you've all been well on the board. |

Boston was bad for years after that trade, they won in spite of it, not because of it. - DariusKnight
They weren't bad for years after that trade, I'm not sure where you're getting that from? Three years after the trade they had a 116 point season and missed the President's Trophy by one point.
Them winning had nothing to do with the trade, they won because they drafted well in 2003/2004/2006. I'm was just stating you can win even after you make a bad trade if you have a management team / scouting team that drafts well. |
