I think the rumor is 19 and Simmonds for ROR.

ROR will get traded today.

Hopefully he gets traded to Montreal.

Since Montreal is bad at the trading.

The value is reasonable, but I feel like Botts could do better. Like 1st and a top D prospect or something like 19, Sanheim and Frost for ROR and 32. I like Simmonds btw. Just not sure how he helps this team. They'd probably throw in Lehtera too.

That the Edmonton Group blamed Hall for their failures.

That it may be one of the worst trades I have ever seen, considering Hall just won the Hart and Larsson was just OK with Edmonton.

I think the losing got to the point where fans wanted a scapegoat. If anyone should understand that kind of mentality it is buffalo fans - we've chased countless quality players out of town.

Also, Edmonton needed a D. Historically awful trade but they did need D.

They're running out of good players to squander via trade

I don't think we drove too many of those guys out of town. I was actually going back a little further - Andreychuk, Housley, etc. You know, Hall of Famers.

Philly trade more likely, as long as their willing to part with their first rounder. That would have to come back to Buffalo to ensure the trade.

I am not really sold on either player, but my other comment would be that it seems Simmonds would be cheaper to resign than Pacioretty moving forward, but not really 100% on that (as no one is).

I like that. Sanheim helps us with the RD. We would probably have to add 32. At 19 I would see if we could trade up. If not, I like Noel or Bokk at 19.

Sanhiem is a LHD. Very good prospect though. Better potential then Guhle. You might be thinking of Philippe Myers who is their RHD prospect that could be very intriguing. Either player id like back in any trade with Philly.

My mistake, CF had him listed as a RD, shoots left. I do like their prospects and they have a lot of picks in this draft so we could definitely do a deal with Philadelphia.
