My point is you're trading a guy who- while not perfect- is a 22 year old, 6'2 C who has already shown to have excellent chemistry with McDavid (5-on-5, PP, 3-on-3), has shown to produce good-to-great numbers despite poor linemates and has room to develop further for a winger that's 4 years older, that you're hoping will be able to replicate what McDavid and Draisaitl already have and who, given the same circumstances Draisaitl had this year, maybe does a bit better (his most common linemates were Dubois, Atkinson and Anderson).
