Is that the only player you know in the draft?

French definitely has the most off the board mock draft I've seen.

I was literally just going to write "do you know any other players besides Hayes or Lundkvist?"

He's lucky he knows how to write posts here, cut him some slack.

I just think because he is so young and he was playing good minutes in a good league, he is a guy you definitely take a chance on. Sounds like he has all the tools to possibly become a good offensive defenseman. And he is a righty

Can you tell us your feelings on Tkachuk?? I'm not sure anyone here has heard them yet.

I like it because it should help push Rosen out.

If he falls to you, you should pick him and then trade him to Calgary for next years un protected 1st.

Something tells me Calgary isn't going to be making any more trades for unprotected first round picks for awhile

I like him. And I think the Rangers could be in the mix for him either in the late first, but most likely with that 39 pick.

It could have turned out much worse for them doing that. Still sucks that they gave away that pick, but can you imagine if the Islanders won the lottery with it?

That would have been awesome because it would have caused them to keep Snow in charge

Its a bit tougher the later they get. I mean there are probably going to be some decent players like Sandin, Bokk, Samuelsson, the russian dudes Alexsomething and Denisomething

I forget who posted it, but had the Flames not beat Vegas on the final game of the season, the pick that the Islanders owned would have been the one that won the lottery. Which is like the biggest kick in the yam bag imaginable.

edit:

Sorry, the lottery for #2 overall I guess. Still.

Hayes is #8 on TSN's trade bait board.

Edit: Actually #11 now.

I am actually with you on Hayes. I think he is a very valuable player.

With that said, I would have no problem shipping him to Siberia or elsewhere if the right deal was there.

Heard he may end up in San Jose to play with Tavares.
