From Ek's thread.

It would cost alot more then Nylander for Dumba. Dumba is 23year old RHD who put up almost as many points as Nylander. Also Nylander is winger, which does not have much value compared to centers and dman.

Prolly more like Nylander, Timothy Liljegren, and second for dumba.

I must have missed the part where Dumba became a great d-man.

Wedge or whoever else might plan a trip here for a Leafs Bruins game:

November 10 @7pm
December 8 @ 7pm

Sked out already?

We did a weekend 2 years ago with friends (no kids). It was franking epic.

Leafs game (we won). Boston Pops Christmas concert. Shopping. Beer drinking. Food. Beer. And more beer.

Our club in Toronto has a reciprocal agreement with the Union Club. We had some drinks there on the Friday night. Where else can you see a carved ivory tusk so prominently displayed? Gawd, I wish I had old money.

this is realistic.
imo..any deal for Tanev has to include a conditional pick that he plays a certain amount of games. Just too risky

No, they only released the home openers, but I was checking out my invoice on my STH account and saw they had every home game's date and time for the upcoming season (obviously only for the Bruins). If you check yours for the Leafs you might see the same.

Maybe we can give JVR a 4th and 5th rounder to give us a hometown discount

Waaay too much for Dumba. He's not that good (even though I think he played pretty well in a few playoff games). If a GM gives up that much for him, I'd be pissed if it's my team.

Thornton as a stop gap could work.. Marleau-Thornton-Marner

Derek Ryan would serve as a nice under the radar Bozak replacement.

If Leafs move a 1st in a package, Trouba would be ideal. Tanev at a reasonable price would be good as well. Hainsey can move back up with Rielly while Tanev is hurt, but can also play less minutes on a different pairing and not burn out, while Tanev is healthy.

Pateryn would be a nice Polak upgrade and make a good partner for one of Gardiner and Dermott.

Gardiner for Myers, sign De Haan or promote one of Rosen/Borgman?

Lots of ways the team could go, Tavares and Carlson are obviously still long shots.

Frenchy has Bode Wilde taken before the 25th pick; The Leafs should try to move up to 20-22 to make sure they get Wilde..

In the spirit of UG, Lets get riled for Bode Wilde.

I thought Uggie had a brilliant point: Leafs need to make trades where we are the clear winners.
