Considering Karlsson at this point still doesn't play for Vegas I doubt that. Plus Hoffman would never be dumb enough to fight either of them.

As well, since there is still no definitive proof that Hoffman's gf did anything. (I assume that will all come out eventually), it'll be interesting to see what happens if it turns out it wasn't her.

This type of deal isn’t too bad if the Sens do trade Karlsson and Ryan in the same deal.

I would say that PD MUST get something like 2 1st round picks + top 4 D + a good prospect in any trade for Karlsson. If Bobby is included in the deal, then a bit less than that is expected.

Dzingel - Duchene - Stone
Boedker - Pageau - Ryan
Tkachuk - Brown - White
McCormick - Smith - Pyatt

Chabot - Karlsson
Wolanin - Ceci
Borowiecki - Harpur (Wideman?)

So these are the current lines of the team AND we don't have our 1st pick next year

there's NO way I'm cheering for a team owned my Melynk unless Karlsson + Stone are resigned.

There's no excuse to let this kind of a guy go; he belongs here and some things are bigger than hockey. He deserves a contract extension.

I honestly have no clue.

It would have to be a ton, but I don't think for Karlsson it would be worth it to get a package less then 4-5-6 Pieces.

I said yesterday that I think the only way to get fair value for Karlsson in a trade would be to trade for a D with the same franchise player status.
The only players even close would be Doughty, Hedman or PK and out of those three the only one even possible would be Doughty.

I doubt it would ever happen, but it's at least an interesting idea.

IMO Karlsson should be taking a pay cut and signing ASAP. Especially since we just gave our top goal scorer, fastest skater and best shot away for basically nothing all based off of something that as of right now there is no proof of. All for Karlsson.

The team is making every possible attempt to make Karlsson happy. IMO it's time for Karlsson to buck up give a bit.

Yup, they are toast!!! Especially if Colorado gets this highly touted Jack Hughes kid who is supposedly the next McDavid. Ottawa claimed they were poised to be a contender following their AHL teams calder win in 2011, and again when they went to the finals in 2017. Not to mention their NHL club made the conference finals 2 years ago. Incredible how quick things have changed. But this trade as a massive loss, not sure why they didn't wait till draft day to see what offers would come their way. Tough year for the sens faithfull.

yeah, i'd bet if you take ryan out of the deal you can look at a true 4 piece package....and guys like tuch, s.theodore and maybe even glass/branstrom could be on the table.

Hurts to say but don't be surprised if Karlsson goes to a contending team (with star power already there); he's going to want to extend right away (july) and it will be with a team that has real chances of winning a cup in the near future
