I've pitched the same idea before. I like the idea of bringing in a veteran to pair with him, Bieksa stuck out to me as a UFA. For whatever reason, the vets on this team are all quiet, mild mannered guys. I wouldn't mind seeing that shook up. - Lunaion
I think Niklas Hjalmarsson would be a perfect fit but I don't see Arizona trading him. Maybe, next off-season we can convince him to come here for a few years once he is a UFA but I think it all comes down to will he come here, for how much and how long, and will Dahlin even need a Veteran to be Paired with after a Full Season in the NHL? |

2 Big Reasons ROR wanted out of Colorado:
1. Wanted to Play Center ONLY
2. Thought he should have been named Captain
How do you think he will react next season if the Sabres try to through both at him. Keeping him to play center with Jack as Captain is at-least Do-Able, moving him to wing as well and forget about trade value, that will plummet because he will publicly be asking for a trade.
I'm not saying trade him now for nothing but I think LW is out of the question no matter how you spin it. - Sabrehagan
Playing ROR at wing is a worse idea than trading him. He just set the record in face offs. Don't give me he can switch to wing during play bs either. That worked great with Leino or whoever else they were doing it with. It was a real cluster f. This team has a hard enough time being where they're supposed to be when they're not switching positions.
Also, ROR always plays against the other team's best lines. That's why he plays so much. He shut down Schenn, Tarasenko and Schwartz when they were the best line in the league. Same with Pasta's, Giroux's and Kucherov's lines. Shut their asses down. |

Who knows for sure?
But, he's young still, so I would think a couple years at least would not hurt him |

So if Hoffman or his wife is found guilty and that's a felony I think in Canada, that will cause him issues to leave the country to play in Florida. |

You mean, "Thanks, Tony". It started before Brown took office.
"The lawsuit was filed after Brown took office, but the facts of the case date back to his predecessor, Anthony M. Masiello."

Father never took Cpt’s test there because of racism that was going on there. They made the exam 10% of score and “interview” 90% of promotion to put minorities in promotional spots. If he took exam he would be eligible for settlement 😡 |

I understand, but let's not lay it all at the feet of one guy when he wasn't responsible for starting it. Yes, he let it continue and that absolutely deserves a good bit of criticism, but it started when a white guy was in charge. |

POOR DRAFTS
Of the 15 players selected by Buffalo in the 2010 and '11 drafts, only four made the NHL and combined to play 144 career games for Buffalo. Of the 23 players Buffalo drafted from 2005-'07, only nine played in the NHL and none topped 400 games. |

He would also be the best LW Eichel has ever played with, and he could take the draws while adding some defensive awareness to the line.
Crunch time with two minutes to go? Move him to center on his own shutdown line |

Would he be better than Kane? Not that I think Kane and Eichel fit well together, but I do think Kane is the better LW.
