Not saying he is that guy though would like to take a shot with high end player; even if said player bust out. Depending who is there at 19; assuming someone doesn't fall, trade down get another asset and take a home run swing

If that's the case, it's obviously untenable for him to stay there, you're right.

I just never read anything that definitively tied Hoffman's harassment to his fiancee the way Colangelo's nonsense was tied together.

I'm assuming you mean moving up?

I don't think Hexy is going to spend what it would take to move up to get most of these guys. Maybe, if a guy they really love is still on the board at 10, they reach out to Chia and try to move up to that spot. But beyond that, I just don't see it happening.

I can see them using pick #19 to move down as being the more likely deal. Perhaps the Red Wings still have a guy they really like on the board at 19 and they are willing to offer picks #30 and #33 to get their boy. That's a deal I can potentially see Hexy making.

Easy, I'd be absolutely shocked if he made it past Chicago at #8 at the latest.

His skating can be improved. That hockey sense, and hands though........

That is a vast understatement.

I went to the Prospects game with a guy who doesn't really follow hockey, and he kept remarking on how slow he looked compared to every other player out there. Dude makes 2016 RJ Umberger look like Pavel Bure.
