I also know where you've run off to nowadays. Are me Nucker and Mordy not good enough anymore?
- Giroux_Is_God

Nucker posts there too on other boards so......(frank) that guy. And Mordy still won't play Xbox with me.

I talk a lot about prospects and needed somewhere to channel it. I like the easy layout too and how posts and threads are archived and searchable, not dumped and then no one sees it. And you can (frank)ing ignore people. Not exactly a secret this site can get bogged down and real hockey conversation gets hard. You're still My Boys™ though, and I check in on My Boys™. It's been such a process doing this guide; I feel a summer fling coming up.

I just crapped my pants, Bulat Shafigullin at #21?
- Glak18

My craziest one. I wrote a long blurb for him. I've seen him 10 times, and I know it looks crazy. I'm convinced he's one of the hidden stars of the draft, even more than some people who loosely mention him as one. I simply cannot find a reason he's not a 1st round talent watching him, let alone looking at his stats. Some team like Tampa probably takes him late 2nd or 3rd and gets a top 6 player, watch.

No way Nashville does that but I would do it from a Flyers perspective for sure. Fear the beard!

Craig Button always speaks highly of Flyers drafting, but I haven't seen him have a good read on their draft tendencies going into drafts. Regarding last year, I think that's more a read on the Devils leaning towards Hischier than what the Flyers were going to do.
- bighandsome91

He nailed it flyers drafting Morin in 2013 and Provorov (albeit not a hard projection) in 2015. Other years, not so close.

Just did, good stuff!

If we come away with a Kaut and Miller, I’d be happy, but I’d be even happier with Farabee.

Ugly. They predicted we’d take Patrick last year too...
- Just5

That was a bold prediction last year.

He was my sleeper in this draft about a month ago, I don't see him making the 1st round though.

Me either. It's not a mock though or realistic about who goes where. It's my personal rankings. Shafigullin just looks that good. I was really skeptical at first thinking something had to be wrong or he'd be more hyped. It's a mystery to me now.

Martin Frk not getting QO from Detroit. Could be nice low risk high reward add. Not sure why being let go.

Bill, do you see the Flyers hiring another assistant coach, preferably one with head coaching experience, or is it too late now? I'd love to see them get one of Bob Hartley, Dave Tippett, Dan Byslma, Kirk Muller, Ron Wilson, Willie Desjardins, Dave Cameron or even a guy like Scott Niedermayer. Thoughts?

Ahhhh fresh air! Hey fam, I finally did my whole top 62 rankings and "guide," if anyone was interested -- and why wouldn't you gents be? You spend all day talking about it.

For real, I spent all season watching hundreds of hours of prospects doing it as a project, so I'd really appreciate it. I think you'd actually find it a good read and informative or at least a unique take. It's definitely my unique take, no one else's, all combined into something easy to read. Feel free to share it with any interested peeps! You may have to create a quick account though. It's worth it; you have my word.

You can find it here or here:

I'll probably re-post this throughout the week for stragglers. Back to the Coffin!

I chose to simply stare at it and allow my brain to grok it that way.
