I was on the side of try to sign Karlsson and work out this mess with Hoffman. Now I think I'm fully in a trade him for Doughty mode. He just caused Hoffman to be traded for half of what he should have been, and without ever proving that Hoffman's GF did it or not.

Now that the Hoffman side has been sorted out, the Sens need to closely examine the other side to see if they bear any responsibility for this ugliness. No excusing it, but these things are rarely random. Fire generally requires a spark. There's usually an antecedent event.

Interesting that MTL and OTT are bowing out of the 2019 playoffs already.

Edit: Maybe Bergevin and Dorion think making their teams worse now will get them better draft positions at this years draft?

He does..he has been on sports radio in Ottawa for a long time..was on the same 1200 station before TSN bought it several years ago.
