If this is true and the Habs want to move down to pick Kotkaniemi (which they'd be (frank)ing idiots to do), maybe the Leafs can move 25th to move up to 15th-20th and then flip that pick plus more to get 3rd and draft Bouchard or Zadina.

Not worth it.
I know you have hard on for Bouchard...but the cost to move up to 15th - 20th then to the 3rd spot would be very expensive.
Plus no one is trading the top 3 picks.

I am not expecting some massive move. I do expect them to make Tavares an offer and I do hope they try to upgrade our defence. Trade Gardiner while his value is high and look for a more reliable d.

In all honesty, I want things to happen that make the team better, and that make the draft entertaining.

If the Leafs come out of it not having made any significant moves, I'll be bored but not exactly disappointed.

At least we won't have traded Gelchenyuk for Domi or Hoffman for Boedker.

Now they get a potential 5/6 defenseman to add to their glut of those and a Boedker who has fallen off the map.
