Because I believe Lee has tremendous trade value, and could address the need for a top dman. SO by trading Lee and bringing in a dman, now you can sign JVR and basically lost nothing up front and gained a 20-25 min a night dman.

If JT stays they may not be able to keep him. I'd like to keep Lee, but selling high this summer may be the best move. Well, the best move will be to dump some of the trash contracts and keep him, but that will be tough.
