Your snow blowing days are well documented. He has always been a chimp IMO. What he did do wasn't all bad of course but he never did do much when he could he actually became less active when he had the money. He was always half arsed and nobody wanted to play for the guy. He made a half arsed orginization more half arsed and the negatives ALWAYS far outweighed the positives IMO. Overall he will go down as one of the worst GM's in NHL history and was laughed at for his entire career and rightfully so. - Cptmjl
Now here is a question... was he TOO concerned on overall longterm health vs short term items (which became far more paramount in the last 2 years) as opposed to this "half arsed" comment? |

We've had this debate ad nauseam on here but I don't disagree. The only positive with Garth Snow is we most likely don't have to worry about seeing him in a commentary role due to him having the personality of a paving stone. I apologize to all paving stones in advance. - Cptmjl
I think this feeling and opinion is locked right into emotional response and frustration via these last 2 years. |

Not that I expected him to be a serious contender, but cross Sutter off the list of candidates. - eichiefs9
I would've liked him. |

Daryl would have been a really nice hire, but you really did not hear his name with the Isles. |

Absolutely not.....it’s having money to spend vs not having money to spend and both sucking. Therefor the winner goes to the sucking GM with the funds. |

Sorry BD but Garth cannot be concerned with long term health when you hire and kept Cappy all those years. Garth was only concerned about control and having Yes men around him. |

Well how does the teams long term health look now? Guy has been rebuilding for 12 years we have some of the worst contracts in the NHL along with a weak prospect pool, and an NHL team with a lot of holes. He was either completely incompetent at drafting and developing prospects or didn't do his job. Which one do you think it was? |

You're just trolling for a response to get me a ban. You're not worth mine or anyone else's time on here. Also, those were the facts you're the only person who doesn't believe they weren't but I'll go with you believing them also because they're all over Twitter for the world to see. |

Garth ran this team like a frat house. Winning was never the priority. Nothing changed when Garth had more money to spend. |

His nepotism was a product of his insecurity and his obvious incompetence. One of the many problems. |

just showing you that you cited nothing even close to facts, and fell right into the hole of believing whatever narrative seems fitting at the time. It's a habit. |

When I was ASKED to come back here, I made sure that I had leeway to clean up your little hive hole of commentary which is groupthink run amok. So their attention to these chat threads will remain as per my request. How they deal with it and go about it is up to them. |

re-read and then realize what I said. They are reading. I don't cite the issues. They are paying attention... which IS exactly what I said at the time. Once again, misunderstanding and then attributing to fit your narrative. You are addicted. |

Yeah ok. Thankfully you're here now. So you think you're the one who should control our "groupthink run amok"? Wow talk about absurd censorship never thought that talking hockey on a hockey site was such a negative. Excuse me, can you leave me alone now? I would like to get back to talking hockey. |

did I call the poster retarded or what he believe retarded? Funny how things warp as needed. And notice how triggered you got as soon as I cited "emotional response". Fans are emotional at times. But emotions don't mean reality or factual.... which is my point. I think that because of that, especially in last two years, overall clarity has become muddled. |

If you are saying his beliefs are that than what does that make him? Do you think that's appropriate or offensive language? Is that not a violation of the CoC? |

Once again, a big difference in commenting on what he believes and what he is personally. I think you are still pushing for rationale down a very bizarre corridor here.
Consult a dictionary for the word retarded other (official) meaning:
very foolish or stupid.
and stop being so overly-sensitive and cucky. |
