He should have been a scout straight outta the league. To be honest he prob feels some sense of relief that the bleeding stopped. Maybe now he can drop a coupla libbers and mix in a vegetable once in a while.
Let him focus on drafting centermen. Specifically 4th liners, just let Lou handle the connys. Don’t let him have any say in dmen or goaltenders.

Really could not care any less on if he's in charge or not. Though I am far from a Lou mark in looking at his GM record post-CBA. I think he is a long way from the old days where he did amazing things. Though I do think his true help will be in organization advancement.

Isles needed the change. Especially after the last 2 years being flubbed and Snow's inability to move forward with no budget limitations with the new owners. I have always preferred an analytics approach (I've said this numerous times over the years) and Snow, plus his coaches seemed to drag their feet on going fully to the hilt on this. Lou comes in from Toronto's HEAVY use, and I do think we will see some aspects of this used/employed.
