I was just going to post what people thought of a ROR for 9OA and Kevin Hayes trade would be acceptable when I saw your post (possible adds where needed). I was thinking that may be a way to go to get a good pick and a Center who could help out Mittelstadt.

If we went the Free Agency route I was thinking Riley Nash or possibly even Bozak. What do you guys think?

- Sabrehagan

I'm still not feeling good about RoR landing a top 10 pick. If anyone does, I think it's easy to get a deal done.

Nash, Derek Ryan, and Bozak seem like good choices....there's a lot of options, if they go that route.

And fwiw, I think Payne and Hajt suck and Phil can't attract any good assistant coaches. He couldn't bring Capuano in last year and Gulutzan this year. Hopefully they will still make some changes. I would look at Arniel, Willie Desjardins and Gronborg or Roger Ronnberg from Sweden.

I still don't know why the Sabres let go of the Assistant coach that ran our Power Play (Sorry forgot his name). He seems to be really helping out the Blue Jackets. Letting him go was just plain stupid and last year's Power Play proves that.

ROR + Nylander for Hayes and 9?

Or upgrade Nylander to pick 32 or next year's second as needed

Bob Woods. And he went to Minnesota. They never should have lost him.

Out of all the Free Agent Centers I think Riley Nash would fit in best for the Sabres, especially if we trade ROR. I also think his contract demands won't be that crazy, atleast compared to someone like Bozak. I do think he will be getting a fair number of offers from other teams so it all comes down to what he will cost and if we trade ROR.

I would be estatic with 9OA and a player, I'm not sure ROR would get you that though.
I pegged ROR's value in this draft around 10...if they get near that and A player it would be a win in my mind.
9OA gets you a solid player that is about 2 years away
Farabee would be solid there along with a couple D men.

Wasn't their power play only bad for the first part of the season, at which point it was good the rest of the season?

Can't recall a team ever firing their coach and GM in the off season and retaining assistants. Someone probably kept a goalie coach or something, but forcing an assistant to stay seems odd.

Another option could be the NY Islanders. If Buffalo could get pick 11 or 12 as well as Keiffer Bellows that MAY be something to consider. Problem is JT's status would play a big part in this and the Islanders may not know by then if he will sign or not.

DJ couldn’t make a putt the last two rounds or he walks away with it.

The USGA again made a mockery of the Open with the BS they did to that course.

I would be shocked if the Isles dealt 11 or 12 and Bellows for ROR, seems like big overpayment...Sabres would need to add, I would choose to add Bustlander myself

I loved what he did today even better on the same hole.

For the people who got upset at him for doing that are the morons that can’t figure out why he did it.
