You say that but it looks like Faulk is on his way out and as bad as goaltending has been, D hasnt hasnt been that good either. A lot of Philly's D guys are projected to be very good.

No chance the Sabres are looking at trading for Jake Allen.

Linus Ullmark is their goalie, they're looking for an older veteran (like Hutton) to split time with him and help him develop some more...not somebody who will challenge him for the starting job.

Aside from inter-division trades not being common, I think Carolina and Philly are the best trade partners involving Skinner. Skinner gives Philly more scoring prowess and Philly has young dmen.

I would suspect one of them being partners with Buffalo, if the Sabres end up trading Ristolainen...which I hope they don't do, Dahlin could help Risto become the player he's supposed to be.

Jeff Skinner and Justin Faulk for Ryan O'Reilly, Alex Nylander, Justin Bailey/Nick Baptiste and pick #32. (I'd hate to see O'Reilly and Nylander go so soon, but this seems like something Buffalo HAS to do with their lack of RHD and LW.)
