Question for you guys. Would you move your 1st and a 2nd for Matt Duchene? Bonafide first line C to play with Drouin. - karlssens

Yeah, it's pretty scary that many scouts try to have an original list instead of a good one. |

Is there a clear cut on the 3rd overall? It all looks like a wash on many players...even Svechnikov and Zadina...watched both guys and I can't really tell who is clearly better than the other |

I don't mind that. Kotkaniemi is just jumping up spots because he's the only center in the draft. His talent and production doesn't justify the draft spot.
He's just like an average looking chick in engineering school. |

Bob McKenzie...after consulting with many NHL scouts - stinger67
From RDS.
Yeah, Bergevin will screw this one up as well. |

I don't know any more than you do who the better player will be but when you can't score and you have the 3rd overall pick, you draft a guy that scores... Whether it's Zadina or Svechnikov, they are clearly the best 2 goal scorers |

I don't believe Tkachuk will become a point producer in the NHL, I've been wrong plenty but I just don't see it, so I would mind |

Everybody says he's like his brother just a little bit better at everything and he had 49 points in 68 games last season with Calgary at 20 |

Zadina or Dobson (y2) - Not_Yan
That's what I would do. Consensus pick all year.
And if it doesn't work out as a GM you have an easy way out, say everybody had him on their list at number 3 |

I think he's gonna be good. People are diminishing his talent because he also has grit. |

Kuznetsov would not be a fit in here because he does the bird when he scores a goal. Pete would be all over this. |

To me, selecting Kotkaniemi instead of Zadina would be like selecting Derek Stepan vs. Nikita Kucherov.
Trade Pacioretty+ for a decent centre. Draft Zadina. Use all the 2nd round picks on centres. |

Yes.
You can even try to move up with your second rounders to grab Veleno if he slips. |
