Question for you guys. Would you move your 1st and a 2nd for Matt Duchene? Bonafide first line C to play with Drouin. |

I wouldn't, and I don't think many Habs fans would. So Dorion can expect a call form Bergevin. |

Why wouldn't you? Top line C for a player 2-3 years away from maybe having an impact. |

Very low end ''top line'' C. And given the rest of the team, we can wait 2-3 years because we sure ain't winning anything for a while.

So then you're wasting Weber, Price, and Patches prime years? |

He's not low end at all. Ask any Sens fan, he carried our offence in the second half.. He was much better than I thought. |

How about we send you Weber for your Chabot and your 2020 first? |

How does this relate? Duchene is 27, in his prime, and would immediately be your best forward. Weber is old, slow, and only getting worse. |

So we wouldn't be wasting his prime then would we?
And even then, why wouldn't you? You're wasting Duchene, Karlsson and and Stone's prime. |

I don't like the trade - Fredobbface
i didn't like it at first either but then i reminded myself that Marc Bergevin is the GM of this team for the foreseeable future, so it really, really doesn't matter. |
